All Saints Boccia team win!
On Wednesday 16th October, 12 children from Year 3 and 4 took part in a Boccia Competition at The Barclay Academy in Stevenage. Boccia is a ball sport related to bowls or pétanque.
Year 3 spent the morning learning the different skills needed for the sport. Year 4 has already tried the sport in PE last week and took part in a competition against 7 other schools. Mrs Cox, Mrs Durham and the children had such a fantastic morning and this was topped off by our amazing children winning the whole event!
They all received a gold medal and a trophy for the school. We are so proud of them all. Well done to Dolly, Jessica McDermott, Zoe, Harley, Sonny P, Tiaan, Oscar A, Rocco, Teddy P, Gracie, Marnie and Mellow. Also a big thank you to all of the parents who dropped off and picked up from the event.
