All Saints, Datchworth can only admit 15 pupils into Reception each year and it is planned that it will reach a 4-class structure by September 2029.
Our school currently operates a mixed-age class structure in Key Stage 1. Reception and Year 1 children learn together in one class, while Year 2 and Year 3 pupils are taught in a second mixed-age class.
Children in Years 4, 5 and 6 are taught in single year-group classes. Our junior children, from Years 3 to 6, make up Key Stage 2 and benefit from increasing opportunities for independence, leadership and responsibility as they move through the school.
