All Saints host Inter-Village Athletics

On Tuesday, we were delighted to host the annual Inter-Village Athletics Competition on our school field, welcoming five other local village schools for an afternoon of sporting excellence, teamwork and friendship.

Children competed across a wide range of running, jumping, throwing and hurdling events, demonstrating determination, resilience and great sportsmanship throughout. We were incredibly proud of the way our pupils represented All Saints, both in their performances and in the encouragement and respect they showed to others.  Our teams achieved some fantastic results, finishing second in the Infant Trophy, third in the Junior Trophy and third overall across the competition. An excellent achievement for everyone involved!

We also received many positive comments from visiting schools about the warm welcome they received and the organisation of the event. It was wonderful to showcase our school and community in such a positive way.  A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped make the afternoon such a success: Rising Stars, our staff led by Mrs Amani, our PTFA, and Mr Pearman, who kindly allowed us to use an additional field for parking. Events like this simply could not happen without the support of so many people behind the scenes.

Most importantly, there was a fabulous feeling throughout the event, with children enjoying the opportunity to compete, encourage one another and celebrate success together.

It was a wonderful example of our school vision in action: "Walking together, discovering life." Well done All Saints!
