Maths workshops for parents

It has been wonderful to welcome so many parents to school this week during the maths workshops.
Feedback from parents has been very positive:
- ‘It is good to see what the children are learning in class and the methods used.’
- ‘Good to understand the pace at which they work so that we can match at home.’
- ‘Very informative class, nice to watch and see how the children work out addition and subtraction.’
- ‘Thank you, good fun and very clear.’
- ‘Very well explained and broken down’.
- ‘Nice to see how the children learn.’
- ‘Really enjoyed the concept of the game - it made learning fun.’

Some teachers have already sent home the slides that they used in the sessions and slides from the other classes will be sent home next week. Children should be able to talk about the session with you and help you understand anything that was said if you weren’t able to make it. We hope that this helps everyone to reflect on key messages and also to support those parents who may not have been able to attend the sessions. Please do contact class teachers if you have further questions after you have reflected on the information sent home and spoken to your children.
