Mill Green Museum and Mill Visit - Year 5

Year 5 went to Mill Green Museum this week and learnt how to turn grain into flour.  Florence and AK from Year 5 explained that, “When we first got there, we made a lego water wheel.  After that, we had a tour of the water mill and saw it in action.  Afterwards we made Cottage bread.  The reason that we made Cottage bread was because in the past, the ovens were too small for square bread so it had to be made smaller.”
