Mixed Basketball Tournament

On Thursday 7th November a mixed team of children from Years 5 and 6 took part in a Basketball Competition at Barnwell Community Leisure Centre.  Competing against 16 teams from across the Stevenage Partnership, our team won their first 3 games and this saw them through to the knock out stage.  During the day, the team showed true determination and perseverance  and we are delighted that they were rewarded by winning a bronze medal, coming third in the whole competition.  

Well done to Caleb-James, Orla, Leela, Leo, Alexander, Ronnie, Tiger, Elizabeth and Lottie for representing the school so well and special thanks to Mrs Nemes and Mrs de Paula who accompanied the children to the event, enabling our stars to shine!  We are so proud of you all.
