Willow Class trip to Shepreth

Our Reception children had a fantastic day on their trip to Shepreth Wildlife Park. They took part in an exciting workshop all about minibeasts and their habitats, discovering the difference between insects and arachnids. The children learnt that insects have six legs, while arachnids have eight legs. They also explored how we can create welcoming habitats for minibeasts by providing places for them to find food, shelter, and safety.
After the workshop, the children enjoyed exploring the park and seeing a wide variety of animals. To finish off a memorable trip, everyone enjoyed a well-earned ice cream before heading home.
It was a fantastic day!
