Woodhall Estate Visit - Year 1 and Year 4
On Thursday, Year 1 and 4 had the opportunity to visit Woodhall Estate at Watton-At-Stone, where they spent the day learning about wildlife and conservation. The children took part in a carousel of activities related to the wildlife and ecology at the Estate including: Woodland walk, bug hunting, food chains, forestry, ecosystems, den building and nature spotting.
The day was fantastic, and the children said how amazing it was and how much fun they had (despite being extremely tired at the end of the day)! Well done to all the children who represented our school so well.
The Estate provided this day completely free of charge and to keep the trip free to parents, we did have to ask for their help with transportation. We appreciate that this can be challenge for some, but we are so grateful for people sharing the help with this. We look forward to visiting Woodhall Estate again in the future.
