World Book Day

World Book Day seemed to extend across the whole week here at All Saints. On Monday and Tuesday it was lovely to see so many parents and carers coming into classrooms to take the opportunity to read with their children.  On Wednesday, Mrs Morrison helped some of the children in Year 5 and 6 to decorate their classroom doors using a book theme.  Thursday allowed for a lot of dressing up fun with some amazing costumes and Mrs Amin organised a “Where’s Wally“ treasure hunt around the school for the children.  Across the week, classes have also accessed live lessons. For example, Reception and Year 1 joined a Julia Donaldson session and learnt how to draw Tiddler and Year 2 focused on a book called “A song in the Mist”.
