Y5 Mini Police Assembly

Over the last 8 weeks, the pupils in Year 5 have taken part in a community project run by Hertfordshire Police.

Throughout the course, they have learnt about many different laws that help to keep our communities safe. They have listened attentively to Dawn (from Hertfordshire Police), asked fantastic questions and even completed challenges outside of school hours such as visiting the Knife Angel in Welwyn Garden City. The project finished last week with a fantastic community day where the children got the opportunity to go inside speed camera vans and riot vans.

This week, they put together their own assembly which they presented to the entire school and their parents.  Well done Year 5.
