Year 3 Tag Rugby Tournament
On Thursday, Year 3 took part in a Tag Rugby event organised by Stevenage Sporting Futures.
Jack and Marnie from Year 3 reported:
We did lots of activities, but we had two main favourites. One of them was Chicken of Hero played against boys from Barclays. Our other favourite was a game where there were two circles. You had to get into the smaller circle and get either a rugby ball or a cone without getting caught. The cone was worth 1 point and the rugby ball was worth 10 points.
We also had three games and the scores were 4-2, 3-3 and 1-0. We all LOVED it!
We all feel proud and grateful and happy. Most of those feelings were because we loved it but also because we WON!
Year 3 were presented with the Passion award by the organisers. This was for “Giving it 100%, putting your heart and soul into whatever you are doing and never giving up. Care about what you do and the people around you, and approaching each opportunity with enthusiasm and positivity”.
What a fabulous award to receive. Well done Year 3!
